Carlos Trejo Garcia

Carlos Trejo García, de 56 años y residente de Lincolnton, falleció el martes 26 de agosto de 2025 en el Centro Médico Catawba Valley. Nació el 3 de junio de 1969 en Apezco Zimapán, Hidalgo, México, hijo de Leonila García Trejo y del difunto Aurelio Trejo Martínez.

A Carlos le encantaba la gastronomía; le encantaba comer, llevar a sus hijos a comer fuera y disfrutar de la comida de su esposa. Constantemente hacía chistes, hacía reír a la gente y se comportaba de forma divertida y graciosa. Era miembro de la Iglesia Católica de Santa Dorotea. Disfrutaba hablando de política, tanto mexicana como estadounidense. Le gustaba observar a la gente y estar al aire libre, especialmente en su jardín o trabajando en él. A menudo se le veía viendo TikToks.

Además de su padre, a Carlos le precedieron en la muerte sus hermanos: Felipe Trejo García, José Isabel Trejo García, Jesús Trejo García y Marcos Trejo García.

Además de su madre, a Carlos le sobreviven su esposa de 30 años, Angélica Ortiz Ramos Trejo; sus hijos, Ariana, Aylin y Magdiel; sus hermanos, Juan Trejo García, Apolonio Trejo García, Leonardo Trejo García, Adrián Trejo García, María Elena Trejo García, Martha Trejo García, María Socoro Trejo García y Benita Trejo García; y sus queridos perros, Bentley y Sophie.

La familia recibirá a sus amigos el domingo 31 de agosto de 2025, de 6:00 de la tarde hasta las 8:00 de la noche, en la Funeraria y Cremación Carpenter-Porter, en Cherryville. El rosario se rezará a las 7:00 del domingo en la funeraria.

La misa funeral se celebrará el lunes 1 de septiembre de 2025 a las 11:00 de la mañana en la Iglesia Católica de Santa Dorotea, oficiada por el Padre Miller. El entierro se realizará a continuación en el Cementerio Municipal de Maiden.

Carlos Trejo Garcia, age 56, of Lincolnton, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. He was born June 3, 1969, in Apezco Zimapan, Hidalgo, Mexico, to Leonila Garcia Trejo and the late Aurelio Trejo Martinez.

Carlos was a foodie; he loved eating, taking his children out to eat, and enjoying his wife’s cooking. He was constantly cracking jokes, making people laugh, and acting goofy and funny. He was a member of St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church. Carlos enjoyed talking about politics, both Mexican and American. He liked people watching and being outdoors, especially in his yard or working in his garden. Carlos could often be found watching Tiktoks.

In addition to his father, Carlos was preceded in death by his siblings, Felipe Trejo Garcia, Jose Isabel Trejo Garcia, Jesus Trejo Garcia, and Marcos Trejo Garcia.

In addition to his mother, Carlos is survived by his wife of 30 years, Angelica Ortiz Ramos Trejo; children, Ariana, Aylin, and Magdiel; siblings, Juan Trejo Garcia, Apolonio Trejo Garcia, Leonardo Trejo Garcia, Adrian Trejo Garcia, Maria Elena Trejo Garcia, Martha Trejo Garcia, Maria Socoro Trejo Garcia, and Benita Trejo Garcia; and beloved dogs, Bentley and Sophie.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services, in Cherryville. Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday evening, at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church, with Father Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Maiden Municipal Cemetery.
