Carlos Alcantar Hernandez, 71, born February 13, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas passed from this life on September 21, 2024. Carlos was a graduate from Fox Tech High School class of "1971". He married the love of his life Herlinda Hernandez as a young man and then began his career as a mobile home inspector and transporter. They had one child Nicole Hernandez together and built a beautiful life filled with many memories followed by grandchildren. Being such a family man, Carlos made sure his whole family had the best barbecue along with swimming every weekend. Carlos was an amazing son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents Rosalia and Bibiano Hernandez, brother, Hector Hernandez, and nephew Frank Lopez. Carlos is survived by his loving of wife of 53 years, Herlinda Hernandez; daughter, Nicole Hernandez; grandchildren, Nathaniel Hernandez-Mello, Robert Hernandez-Mello, Delilah Hernandez-Mello, Nicholas Hernandez-Mello, Penelope Cinco and Andrew Cinco Jr.; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Carlos Hernandez-Mello Jr, Carlos Alcantar Hernandez-Mello Jr;; brother and sisters, Ricardo Hernandez, Janie (Joe) Zepeda, Frances Ramos, Diana (Jaime) Arguello, Norma (Tom) Salas, and Yolanda Peña; aunts and uncle, Trini Acosta, Tana Hernandez, and Gilbert (Gloria) Hernandez; numerous nieces and nephews; his fur baby, Rose Mello; as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends. He will be dearly missed by all.
