He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Lara; his parents, Antonio Lara & Gregoria Contreras; brother, Juan Antonio Lara.
He is survived by children, Carlos Lara, Jr. and wife Gabriela, Juan Lara and wife Teresa, Edgar Lara; siblings, Jesus Arturo Lara, Maria Magdalena Lara, and numerous grandkids and great grandkids and many other loving family and friends.
