Okeechobee - Carlos Agusto Portocarrero died June 5, 2021. He was born September 16, 1962 in Managua, Nicaragua to Carlos and Angela Portocarrero. A resident of Okeechobee for 25 years, he was a member of Iglesia Buatista la Cosecha. He had a good work ethic, was a devoted church member, and adored his family.
Mr. Portocarrero is survived by his wife, Mayra Portocarrero; sons, Carlos A. Portocarrero, Jr. (Juanita) and Elvis Portocarrero all of Okeechobee; daughters, Yael Kendall (Brian) of Indiana and Samantha Portocarrero of Okeechobee; two grandsons, Carlos A. Portocarrero, IV and Luke Kendall; brothers, Jose, Felix, and Nicolas; and sisters, Olga, Angela, and Karla.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, June 14, 2021 at Iglesia Bautista la Cosecha. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
