This is the day to celebrate the life of Carlos Duntavius White, known affectionately as Carlos to his friends and family, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 41. Born on November 16, 1983, in Atlanta, Georgia, Carlos was a beacon of kindness and friendliness in the lives of those who knew him. Carlos was the beloved son of Barbara White and a cherished brother to Christopher Caldwell, Zachary Caldwell, and sister Tamek a Hodges. His family circle extended to his caring aunts and uncles, Annie and Jerry Jimmerson, James Edward Carter, Sandra White, Phyllis White, Faith Randolph, and Cathleen Goodrum, as well as numerous cousins who held him dear. Each family member saw in Carlos a reflection of faith and compassion that he carried with him throughout his life. A man of simple pleasures, Carlos found joy in the rhythm of a basketball bouncing on the pavement, the shuffle of cards during a spirited game, and the peace of a leisurely walk. These interests were more than pastimes; they were the avenues through which Carlos connected with others, sharing laughter and creating memories. Carlos will be remembered as a kind soul, always extending a hand of friendship and embodying a spirit that was truly faith-filled. His gentle demeanor and genuine concern for others made him a friend to many and a stranger to none As we say farewell to Carlos, we reflect on a life lived with purpose and generosity. His legacy is one of love, friendship, and unwavering faith. It is a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide us. Carlos Duntavius White may have departed from this world, but his light remains, shining brightly in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

I will always remember how Carlos could make me laugh until my stomach hurt. Once we started laughing, it was over; neither of us could stop. His laugh was loud and impossible to ignore, the kind of laugh that could brighten my day instantly. Even now, I can still hear it in my mind, and it brings a smile to my face every time.

Carlos was the biggest jokester I knew. He always had a way of making me laugh, even when I didn´t feel like it. He could turn the simplest moments into something hilarious. I´ll miss him so much, but his laugh, his jokes, and the joy he brought to me will always stay with me. I love you, Carlos, and I´ll carry your memory with me forever.

With love,
Your cousin Christina.
