Carlton attended Georgia Southern University, an experience that broadened his horizons and fostered lifelong friendships. His professional life was dedicated to his role as a route driver/Salesman for Blue Bell Ice Cream, where he was not only a valued employee but also a friendly face to many customers and colleagues.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Carlton could often be found cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers or discussing the latest happenings in the sporting world. He also had a love for traveling, which he pursued whenever possible, and he was a dedicated supporter of the Statesboro Humane Society.
His memory will be cherished by his devoted wife, Stephanie Britt, and his beloved daughter, Christianna Britt, both of Statesboro, GA. He is also survived by his step-mother, Sara Britt; his brother, Jeremy Britt; and his in-laws. Carlton was preceded in death by his parents, Spencer Britt and Linda Britt.
Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects during a visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 am, both at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory in Statesboro, GA, on Monday, August 18, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Carlton's memory to the Statesboro Humane Society, located at 107 North College Street, Statesboro, GA, 30458. This cause was dear to Carlton's heart, reflecting his love for animals and community.
