Carma R. Pausch-Davis, age 60 of Newark, died peacefully at home on Friday, June 20, 2025. She was born July 6, 1964, to the late Henry M. and Beverlee H. Pausch II.
Carma was a 1982 graduate of Granville High School, a 1986 graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice. In 1994, she received her Juris Doctorate from Capital University College of Law.
Carma lived for college football season. Watching her beloved Buckeyes was her favorite past time……except for correcting people’s grammar!
Carma is survived by the love of her life, Chad Davis; her new fur baby, Crazy Maizey; siblings, Henry M. Pausch, III, Keith T. (Amy) Pausch, R. Tara (Spencer) Hoeflich, IV, Debbie (Mark) Hannahs; nieces and nephews, Taylor H. Pausch, Seth Prevost, Summer (Jack) Defant, Devon Prevost, and Henry D. Pausch…. all of whom were her pride and joy; and her soul sister/ BFF Lisa E. Miller; an uncle, Dr. Jerry B. Pausch; cousins, Frederick B. Pausch, Darren (Brenda) Swingle, Dawn (Gene) Duffield, Douglas Swingle and David (Karen) Swingle.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm Saturday, July 12th, 2025, at McPeek Hoekstra Hoskinson Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St, Granville, where a funeral service will begin at 3 PM Saturday with Pastor Scott Hayes officiating. The burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, will be held at a later date.
