Carmela “Nonna” Molinaro, 90, of Hauppauge, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born with a gifted and caring spirit, Carmela dedicated her life to her family and her craft. She worked for many years as a talented seamstress, known for her meticulous hands, her patience, and the pride she took in every stitch she made.
Carmela’s home was always filled with the warmth of her cooking and baking. She found joy in preparing meals for those she loved, creating memories around the table that her family will cherish forever. In her younger years, she adored spending time playing with her grandchildren, and in her later years that same joy continued with her great-grandchildren, who brought her endless laughter and light.
Carmela is predeceased by her beloved husband Angelo, beloved daughter Lousia Rinaldi(Dominic)and her granddaughter Nicole. She is survived by her loving daughter Donna Biondo (Joseph); her cherished grandchildren Connie Rinaldi (Andrea), Angela Furelli (Joseph), Jessica Weisgram (Troy), Amanda Belliard (Carlos), and Angelo Biondo (Elizabeth); and her treasured great-grandchildren Ava, Nicolette, Simone, Danny, Camille, Lila, Mason, Caleb, Angelina, Cole, and Sawyer.
Carmela will be remembered for her strength, her devotion to her family, her laughter, and her generous heart. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured, loved, and inspired.
May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
