Mimi Jaye was a wonderful, charming, and warm person. I knew her as Mrs Jaye because whenever I visited her son, Billy, we would engage in a delightful conversation. It was unusual to me for an adult to take an interest in someone as young as I was. Recently, I attempted to reconnect with her to learn more about her son's recent death, only to find out that she had also passed away just a week earlier. Rest in peace, Mrs. Jaye. You are a wonderful person.

Mimi will forever be a light in so many of our lives, so many of us who were lucky enough to be children in a town where she lived, to be mentored by her, loved by her. She and Marilyn were such a magical duo, an example of true friendship. Mimi saw each child, she looked for what made us shine, and more importantly, what held us back. She loved freely and always spoke with honesty in a loving way. She was truly a blessing to us all. Love you Mimi.

Mimi was a person filled with the love of God and others. She had profound wisdom that she shared with others which came as a result of her deep faith.
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord. And may she rest in peace. Amen.
