Carmen Gonsalez was born on April 5, 1933, in Texas, and passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, in Manteca, California.

Carmen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ramon Gonsalez; her sons, David and Paul Gonsalez; and her grandson, Jeff Gonsalez.

She is survived by her loving children, Ray Gonsalez Jr., Teresa McNeese, Rex Gonsalez, Linda Gonsalez, Fred Gonsalez, and Nancy Perata; her two sisters, Tina Cordova and Gloria Delao; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Affectionately known as "Mom" to everyone who knew her, Carmen had a heart that extended far beyond her own family. She was especially known for her delicious homemade tamales, which became a treasured tradition at Christmas. Carmen deeply cherished time spent with her family and took great joy in celebrating holidays surrounded by loved ones.

Carmen was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Alongside her husband Ramon, together they founded and operated RG Trucking, where she faithfully handled the bookkeeping. Together, they shared a love for spending time outdoors, especially fishing, which brought them many happy moments.

A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, Carmen also loved cooking and caring for others through food and fellowship. Above all, she loved being a mother and grandmother, finding her greatest happiness in the time she spent nurturing, guiding, and creating memories with her children and grandchildren.

Carmen leaves behind a legacy of love, tradition, hard work, and family devotion. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
