Carmen Heredia (May 26, 1943 - June17, 2025)
Carmen, beloved mother of Joseph A. (Chepito) Daboub, 57, and dearest daughter in law Aree ( Aruchi) Barnes, 58, passed away on June 17, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.
She was born in Mexico City in May 26, 1943 to Paz Camino Hernandez and José Heredia. She attended Universidad de Motolinia where she got an Associates of Applied Science in Cosmetology, She started working as a teenager as a teller at Banco National before getting married to José Daboub Leal in Mexico City and years later becoming a substitute teacher at the American School in Mexico City.
Carmen was a devoted mother, mother in law, aunt, neighbor, and worshipper at the Holy Family church where she was a member of the Holy Family of Nazareth Association for 10 years (2005-2015). Her warm welcome, kindness, passion, love and family values were felt by all who knew her. Joseph Daboub, was her pride and joy. She always said his birth changed her life for the better, and he felt that in the endless love, closeness, and support she provided all his life. As she used to say they were two bodies one will.
Carmen was an avaid artist who loved to draw our Lord, nature, animals, and family portraits. She enjoyed to cook her unique eclectic style dishes which she shared with family and friends who visited her. She was well know for her sweet tooth and love for Coca Cola.
Carmen was preceded in death by her Mother Paz Camino and Father José Heredia.
Private viewing, Thursday. Christian Burial Mass will be held at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church in Irving, Friday June 27, 2025 at 10:00 am Inurment will be held at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens cemetery June 27, 2025 at 12:00p
