Puerto Rico. The daughter of Tomasa Nieves and Francisco Nieves.
Carmen was a resident of Erie, Pennsylvania for twenty-nine years. She loved to spend majority
of her time with family. She also enjoyed cooking, and fishing.
Carmen leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Ramona Ocana Nieves, two sons Victor
Ries, Manuel Portalantin, four grandchildren, one sister Luz Nieves, four brothers Carlos Nieves,
Marcelino Nieves, one niece Nancy Perez and many others four nephews, five aunts, many
cousins.
Carmen was preceded in death by her Mother Tomasa Nieves father Francisco Nieves Luz
Nieves, Carlos Nieves, Marcelino Nieves.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Lecom Hospice, and a special thanks to
Ingrid her translator and friend.
