Carmen had a passion for playing Bingo, cooking, singing, dancing, and shopping. She loved to always look her best and was known for her fun personality, loving heart, and joyful spirit. She brought laughter and happiness to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Balbina; her husband, Hector R. Suarez Andujar; her daughter, Barbie Diaz; siblings, Aleida Hernandez and Raul De Jesus; and nephew, Angel De Jesus Jr. Carmen is survived by her daughter, Melanie Garcia of Bronx, NY; siblings, Angel (Diana) De Jesus of Bronx, NY, Maria De Jesus of Davenport, FL, and Manuel (Santos De Leon) De Jesus of Carolina, PR; grandchildren, Christian X. Torres of Bronx, NY, Christopher J. De Jesus of Haines City, FL, and Angel X. Bolarinwa of Virginia Beach, VA; great-grandchild, Harper G. Torres-Manuel; and numerous nieces and nephews including Raul Perez, Quetzy Hernandez, Karen Lozada, Raul De Jesus, Raul Hernandez Jr., Gilberto Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez, Yahaira De Jesus, and Kihomary De Jesus.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL 33844.
Carmen Alicia Suárez, de 76 años, de Haines City, FL, falleció el 12 de noviembre de 2025 en su residencia, rodeada de su amorosa familia. Nació el 7 de agosto de 1949 en San Juan, Puerto Rico, hija de Benito De Jesús y Balbina Rivera. Carmen trabajó por más de diez años haciendo joyería para A.L.A. Casting Company, en el distrito de diamantes de Nueva York, retirándose en 1994, y más tarde se dedicó a ser una amorosa ama de casa. Profesaba la fe cristiana.
A Carmen le apasionaba jugar Bingo, cocinar, cantar, bailar y salir de compras. Le encantaba lucir siempre lo mejor posible y era conocida por su personalidad divertida, su corazón amoroso y su espíritu alegre. Llenaba de risas y felicidad a quienes la rodeaban.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Benito y Balbina; su esposo, Héctor R. Suárez Andújar; su hija, Barbie Díaz; sus hermanos, Aleida Hernández y Raúl De Jesús; y su sobrino, Ángel De Jesús Jr. Carmen deja atrás a su hija, Melanie García, de Bronx, NY; sus hermanos, Ángel (Diana) De Jesús de Bronx, NY, María De Jesús de Davenport, FL, y Manuel (Santos De León) De Jesús de Carolina, PR; sus nietos, Christian X. Torres de Bronx, NY, Christopher J. De Jesús de Haines City, FL, y Ángel X. Bolarinwa de Virginia Beach, VA; su bisnieta, Harper G. Torres-Manuel; y numerosos sobrinos, entre ellos Raúl Pérez, Quetzy Hernández, Karen Lozada, Raúl De Jesús, Raúl Hernández Jr., Gilberto Hernández, Antonio Hernández, Yahaira De Jesús y Kihomary De Jesús.
