On June 22, 2024, the world lost a sweet and kind woman as Carmen Minerva Timothy of Apopka, FL, went to sleep in the Lord at the age of 87. Born on April 28, 1937, in Jamaica, West Indies, Carmen lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering faith in the Lord. She dedicated her career to the medical industry, serving as a compassionate operating room nurse at St. John’s Hospital/Interfaith Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY).
Carmen’s love for crocheting and gardening brought her joy and her unwavering faith was evident in her favorite saying, “God is good!” She leaves a legacy of warmth and care that will be cherished forever.
Carmen was a devoted spouse to Eric Timothy and a loving mother to Chandler and Wendell Timothy. She will also be deeply missed by her daughter-in-law Charmeretta, grandchildren, nieces, nephew, cousins, friends, church family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In honoring Carmen's memory, let us cherish the love and joy she brought into our lives, and may her beautiful spirit live on in our hearts forever.
