Carmichael O'Neal Coats, A son, father, and brother, passed away on June 27, 2025. Born on August 5, 1982, to a bond of twinship with his brother Tomichael D. Coats.
Carmichael lived life with purpose and enthusiasm. He was a proud graduate of the Columbus public school system. An avid OSU Football and Cincinnati Bengals lover and keen follower of politics, Carmichael welcomed challenges and approached life with determination.
Carmichael is preceded in death by his mother, Tillie B. Coats; his son, Carmichael O. Coats III; his paternal grandparents, Leamon Coats and Annice Lydia Moorer; and his maternal grandparents, YT and Della Mae Broomfield.
Carmichael is survived by his father, Gregory O'Neal Coats; his twin brother, Tomichael D. Coats; his sister, Tysha M. Cotner; Brothers, Leamon and Gregory O'Neal Coats Junior (California). His children, Malachi Coleman, Lauren and Carmichael O. Coats II, Carlee, Carmen, and Carter Coats, A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
