Carmina Querques

Carmina Querques, of Orange, NJ passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on October 8, 2022, at the age of 91.
Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito - Dancy Memorial (9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, NJ 07006) on Wednesday, October 12th from 4PM - 8PM. The Funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (103 S Center Street, Orange, NJ 07050) on Thursday, October 13th at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park (1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083).
Carmina was born and raised in Alberona, Foggia, Italy before emigrating and residing in Orange, NJ since 1970. Upon coming to the United States she worked as a seamstress in the Orange area for many years while raising her family.
Carmina is the beloved wife of the late Donato Querques; loving mother of Angelo Querques (wife, Maricelia), Lucia DeSena Petruzziello (husband, John), Anna Debellonia (husband, Vincent) and Salvatore Querques; cherished grandmother of Leanna DeSena-Mancinelli (husband, Nick), Vincent Debellonia, Anthony DeSena, Daniel Querques (wife, Yasmim) and Isabella Querques. Carmina is also predeceased by her father, Salvatore Iansito, mother, Anna Iansito (né Castellaneta), brothers Vincenzo and Antonio Iansito and survived by her brother Giuseppe Iansito, as well as many other beloved family and friends.
Carmina will be remembered for her kind and generous heart. She will be very missed by all who knew her.
