Ann Wells Obituary
She was a resident of Pompton Plains NJ since the age of 3. A graduate of Pequannock Township High School, she was known for her commitment to the school, participating in Choir, Cross Country, Track and was manager of the girls Varsity Basketball team. She attended Caldwell University to study early education. She worked a number of years for the Pompton Lakes school, supporting the after school programs. She is survived by James Wells, her daughter Shannon, son James, sister Mary Jane, brother-in-law, Richard, and 5 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Nancy McLaughin.
Those who knew her understood her passion for professional sports, especially the NJ Devils and the NY Giants.
Known for her generosity and kindness, she will be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 4th, from 4pm-7pm at Scanlan's Funeral Home, 781 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, February 5th, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic church, 155 West Parkway, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444.
