Carmine Pucillo Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mackey Funeral Home - Middleton on Dec. 27, 2024.
Carmine Pucillo brought joy and laughter to the world for 98 remarkable years. Born on February 9, 1926, in East Boston, MA, Carmine's journey through life was one marked by dedication, love, and an unwavering sense of humor. He passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024, in Salem, NH.
Carmine's early life was characterized by his commitment to his country and his education. As a proud World War II veteran, he served in the Army Air Force with valor and distinction. Following his service, he furthered his education at Boston University, earning a degree in Business Management in 1950. This education laid the foundation for a successful career as a Logistics Manager at Hanscom Air Force Base where he eventually retired at the age of 65.
Those who knew Carmine will remember him for his funny and generous spirit. He had a knack for storytelling, and his sense of humor was as infectious as it was endearing. Carmine's loving nature was evident in the way he treated his family, friends, and even strangers. He had a big heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a laugh.
Carmine had a passion for music, often serenading friends and family with his accordion. Family and friends are not 100% unanimous on whether this was enjoyable! He volunteered at local nursing homes, bringing smiles to the faces of many with his music and jokes. An avid swimmer, dancer, and cook, Carmine never missed an opportunity to enjoy life's simple pleasures.
Family was the cornerstone of Carmine's life. He was cherished by his daughters, Karen Clark and her husband Edward, Lynne Fenoff and her husband Ronald, as well as his stepsons, Michael Ennis and his wife Wendy, Patrick Ennis, Sean Ennis and his wife Madeline. Though he was predeceased by his beloved wives, Jean Perron and Judy Ennis, and his stepson Timothy Ennis, Carmine's legacy of love and laughter lives on through his family. He also leaves behind his sister Louise Martignetti, sister-in-law Ruth Pucillo, and was predeceased by his brothers Gerald, Fred, Anthony, and his sister Susan Bonnini. His many nieces and nephews will fondly recall their uncle's generous spirit and the joy he brought to family gatherings.
Carmine's departure from this world leaves behind a legacy of joy, generosity, and love. He will be remembered not just for the life he lived, but for the countless lives he touched. As we say goodbye to him, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man who was truly one of a kind.
