Dennis Pucillo

Dennis Michael Pucillo, 78, Clifton, N.J. has passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, comforted by loved ones at his side.

Born on February 24, 1946, Dennis was the beloved son of Carmine and Philomena Pucillo. Throughout his life, he was known for strong work ethics, independent spirit, and deep passion for animals.

Dennis grew up in Cedar Grove, N.J., where he formed many lifelong friendships that he cherished throughout the years. An entrepreneur at heart, he owned and operated numerous businesses across Newark, Irvington, Springfield, and Clifton, taking pride in his work and in the enterprises he built. Outside of work, Dennis found his greatest joy walking Branch Brook Park with his dogs and spending time horseback riding throughout North Jersey.

Above all, Dennis was a devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his only daughter, Sherry, her husband Keith, and his deeply cherished grandchildren. Brandon and Zachery, who were the light of his life and his "buddy boys". He is predeceased by his loving parents and by his great idol, his treasured brother, Anthony.

Family will receive friends and relatives for a viewing on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, N.J. 07009. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery, Upper Montclair, N.J.
