Carol Adkins Obituary
Carol A. Adkins, 73 of West Creek, NJ passed away at home on Thursday November 16, 2023. Carol was born and raised in St. Albans, WV and spent time living in Staten Island, NY and Manahawkin, NJ before moving to West Creek 23 years ago. Carol worked as a nurses aid for St. Vincent’s Hospital and was also a receptionist for H.L. Oldsmobile both in Staten Island, NY. She was a 1968 graduate of Port Richmond High School and was a wonderful Mom and Grandmother.
Carol was predeceased by her parents Leonard “Lee” and Roxy Adkins and her sister Betty Arai.
She is survived by her loving sons Carmine Bousanti of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Nicholas Bousanti of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Chad Bousanti of West Creek, NJ, her life partner Peter Brunaes, stepdaughter Kristin Salek and husband Michael, siblings Alice Tickle, Debra Vreeland, Steve Briscoe, Delores Smith, Sandra Hanshaw, James Briscoe and Luther Leonard “Lee” Adkins Jr. and grandchildren Isabella Jian Bousanti, Isabella Grace Bousanti, Carol Bousanti, Joseph Bousanti, Nathan Spencer, Samantha Spencer and Finneas Salek.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 21st, 2023 from 2-6pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Cremation will be private.
