Carol Ann Lujan

Carol Ann Lujan was accepted into heaven on March 18, 2026. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family and devoted friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Patrick Lujan and Marie (Lujan) Dupree. She is survived by her son, Isaiah Lujan LaRue, sister Lori Lujan, her nieces Desiree Brown (David), Olivia Brown (Dustin), and great-nephew Raiden Townsend. Carol Ann attended St. Anne's Catholic School and Santa Fe High School. She attended Dona Ana Community College and earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration. She worked for the State of New Mexico as a Financial Specialist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1994. Soon after, she began working with her mother at Country Boarding Kennels, eventually owning the business in 2009. Rosary and Mass will be celebrated on April 13th, 2026, at Santa Maria de La Paz at 10:00 a.m., followed by the burial at Rosario Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Pallbearers will be Isaiah Lujan LaRue, Jonathan LaRue, and Eddie Lujan, Jr. A special thanks to the Santa Maria de La Paz homebound ministers, Paula Roybal, Valerie Gallegos, and Bernadette Wiegel for their weekly visits, love, support, and friendship.
