Carol Ann Bibb (nee Amelung), of Lake Saint Louis, MO, went to heaven Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the age of 74. Carol meaning song of joy was the Beloved wife of the late Gary Wayne Bibb; cherished daughter of the late Dorothy and Wilbur Amelung Sr. Devoted mother of Tammy Camenzind and Kimberly (Larry) Marrs; loving grandmother of Kyle (Heather) Camenzind, Cody Camenzind and Nora Muehlbauer, Katie (Michael) Plante, Jonathan Marrs, and Chloe Camenzind; treasured great-grandmother of Carter, Abel, and Daxtin; dear sister of George (Kathy) Amelung, Wilbur (the late Barbara) Amelung, Jr., and Margaret (Dennis Balkenbush) Amelung; brother and sister in law, Mark (Ruth) Bibb. Carol was married to Gary for 57 years before his passing. Together, they enjoyed performing country music as the Bibb family. In their latter years, they performed as Gary and Carol and the Trailblazers with the Gateway Country Music Association. They would perform at the Belle Starr Theatre in Warrenton, MO. They were active churchgoers, and Carol, a devout Christian, loved singing in the choir.

For 40 years, Carol taught ballet and tap and jazz at the Butell School of Dance. She found joy in teaching and choreographing dances. Carol also directed Christmas plays and musicals, often putting on performances at her church. She was passionate about interpretive dance and even taught dance to the deaf and blind.

Carol was a loving mother and grandmother who never met a stranger. She had a good sense of humor, was outgoing, and enjoyed socializing. Carol also had a green thumb and took great pleasure in gardening and caring for her plants. Carol was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
