Carol Nix Brannon, age 70 of Bremen, gained her angel wings on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Born in Carrollton, GA, on October 10, 1955, she was the only daughter of the late Harold Grady Nix and the late Mary Louise Eley Nix. In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Nix

A 1973 graduate of Bremen High School, Carol worked for many years as the Office Manager with the Haralson County Department of Family and Children's Services. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Carol loved taking care of her family and spending time with them. She was an excellent cook, and she will be remembered for her lasagna, lemon pie, and her special dressing. A dedicated member of Bethel Baptist Church, she used her talents there by creating the weekly church bulletin. Her beautiful smile and gentle personality will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Bobby Brannon of Bremen; her daughters, Cynthia Carol Rainey (Marte` Cochran) of Goodyear, Arizona, and Erin Leigh Guerra of Carrollton; precious grandchildren: Anastasha Marie Rainey (Mike Zarczynski), William Brad Rainey, Jr., Chloe Ciara Carlisle, Kayci Lynn Edwards, Aubree Dilianna Guerra, and Abigail Louise Guerra; and her sweet great-grandchild, Charlotte Maurie Russell-Zarczynski. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Aline Brannon; her sisters-in-law, Peggy Johnson and Debbie (Shannon) Lorren; and other extended family and friends.

The family will host a celebration of Carol's life at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Ronald Carroll officiating. Carol will be laid to rest at a later date at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is honored to serve the cremation needs of the Brannon family.
