Carol Burke Obituary
Irondequoit - Passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2026 at age 76. Predeceased by her husband Eugene “Gene” Burke; parents Paul & Virginia Yaeger; brothers Richard Yaeger and Paul E. Yaeger Jr. . Survived by her children Andrew (Kristen), Matthew (Stefanie), Michael (Tina), and Christopher (Lisa); 8 grandchildren; sister Mary Jane Yaeger; brother Stephen (Susan) Yaeger; and 3 great nieces.
As a person of deep faith, Carol was a regular daily mass attendee and was very active at St. Thomas the Apostle Church Community. She was an avid golfer and mahjong player. She was an experienced traveler stemming from her roots as an international flight attendant. Carol was a very well-rounded Individual but family always came first especially when spending time with her grandchildren and great nieces. She will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be held 4-6 PM, Friday, January 16 at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services. Funeral Mass 10 AM, Saturday, January 17 at St. Kateri Parish at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105.
