Carol M Casto-Hedges, age 64 of Groveport, Ohio went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2025, after a long battle with Cancer.
She was born on February 12th, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio.
Carol was a selfless, caring, and deeply loving spouse, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She found immense joy in spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren. She had a deep love for all animals. Spending time on a family farm growing up with her horses, Sugar, Sundown & Honey we're wonderful memories for her. She always enjoyed going to the pool and being in the sunshine. She and Scott have wonderful memories together of the time they lived in the Florida Keys. Spending time in the mountains of Tennessee and the Shores of Lake Erie were always favorite times for her.
She is survived by her life love of 36 years Scott Hedges. Her loving son Shane(Dani) Casto. Her loving daughters Shannon (Avery) Dugger, and Shellie(Nick) Zaayer. Beloved grandchildren, Landen, Caden ,Tyler, Austin, Nichole, Ray. Family Millie Hedges, Steven Hedges, Adam Altman. Her sisters, Terri Chapman and Ellen Rodak. Brother Charlie Lininger. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and other close family and friends who will cherish her memory. Carol was preceded in death by her parents Charles & Theresa Lininger.
The family would like to express its deepest gratitude to all the caring and compassionate doctors, nurses & staff at The Grant Cancer & Infusion Center, and OhioHealth Hospice.
Carol's kindness, love, and generosity touched the lives of so many. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
Family will receive friends and loved ones Friday, September 5, 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. A graveside service will be at 12:30pm at Groveport Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
