Carol Christianson Obituary
Carol F. (Bergstad) Christianson passed away at 74 from a massive stroke in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Carol is survived by fiancé, Myron Speer, of Carpenter, Iowa; daughters, Cindy Spores of St. Paul, Minnesota and Kari (Travis) Kill of St. Cloud, Minnesota; grandkids, Lucas and Anthony of St. Cloud, Carol, Katherine, J.J., and Sierra of St. Paul, Minnesota; nephew, Eric (Jenn) Beck of Brainerd, Minnesota; very special niece Tonya Garza; and also, numerous great nieces, nephews, beloved family and friends.
Carol and Myron had a very loving relationship, she loved taking little trips together, visiting, and having cookouts with family and friends in Carpenter, Iowa. She also had a passion for gardening, collecting Indian dolls, and wolf items.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Katherine (O’Rourke) Bergstad; brother, Carl Bergstad; and sister, Mary Beck.
A Celebration of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Tonya Garza’s home, 1217 Madison Avenue, Albert Lea, MN 56007.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
