She was born June 18, 1948, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Alford and Frankie Nell Calahan Compton. Prior to retirement, she worked at Teledyne as Quality Control in shipping. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Carol Ann's favorite pastimes were reading, spending time with her family and caring for her dogs, Chloe and Gizmo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert T. "Bob" Church; two brothers, Eddie and Ronnie Compton; great grandchild Marcus Franks; sister-in-law Janice Compton.
She is survived by her son Rodney (Kim) Church of Lewisburg; two sisters, Sandra (Eddie) Warren and Nelda (Mike) Adgent both of Lewisburg; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister-in-law Debbie Compton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Bethbirei Cemetery with burial to follow. Pallbearers will be Levi Franks, Gabe Church, Kieffer Compton, Eric Compton, Jerry Church and Kevin Compton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bethbirei Cemetery Care Fund, 1509 S. Berlin Road, Lewisburg, TN 37091.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
