Carol Ann Collins, 79, of Hardy, Arkansas, passed away on July 18, 2025, in Cherokee Village, Arkansas. She was born on October 28, 1945, in California to Joseph Stratton and Juanita Cook Stratton.
Carol was a devoted wife to the late Danny, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent her life serving as a schoolteacher and serving her church, touching the lives of many with her kindness and dedication.
She is survived by her daughters, Tina Taitano of Williford and Tessee Watkins of Little Rock; her grandchildren, Kyle Herring (Jessica), Ben Kilpatrick, Kaleb Herring (Lydia), Kaitlyn Grayham, Zachary Kilpatrick, Karpenter Herring, Kaylee Herring, Kooper Herring, Abishai Taitano, and Kolleen Herring; and great-grandchildren Alyssa, Carter, Sophia, Owen, Evelyn, Ember, and Corbin. Carol is also survived by Boaz, Cyrus, Daniel, Enoch, and Faith Taitano, and Kenzie Herring.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Thomas Haseltine, Terry Kilpatrick, and Timothy Collins, and her brother, Douglas Stratton.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Wortham Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 4:00 PM. Burial will follow at Ed Collins Cemetery.
Carol will be deeply missed by her family, friends, church family, and all who knew her
