Carol Cook, born on July 25, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on November 12, 2025, after an 18 month battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her husband, Ron Cook; her son, Collin Cook; niece, Susan McCracken; and nephew, Mike McCracken & family.
Carol was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and El Centro College. She excelled in the mortgage industry, working proudly with Fannie Mae until her retirement. She brought a strong work ethic and compassion to her role, leaving a lasting impact on those she worked with.
In her personal life, Carol was an avid gardener and loved all kinds of flowers. She was also very fond of shopping, enjoying the thrill of finding the perfect item. Canton trades days won't be the same without her!
Carol's faith was the forefront of her life. She was an active member of the Saturn Road Church of Christ in Garland, TX for over 30 years where she formed many cherished friendships. She cherished her "Brunch Bunch" and close friends, Danny and Vicki Looney.
Family and friend gatherings brought her immense joy. Her warm and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her. In honoring Carol's memory, her loved ones will remember her for her kindness, her passion for life, and her unwavering support for her family and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Sally Cannon; sister, Joyce McCracken; and brother-in-law, William L McCracken.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Carol's honor to Pancreatic Cancer Research (PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network)) or the ASPCA.
