Carol Elaine Cooper, age 81, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 in McKenzie, Tennessee. She was bon on December 20, 1943, as an only child, to Irwin and Ella Meier in Denver, Colorado. As a small child, Carol and her family moved around before settling in Denver where her father owned and operated a refrigeration repair business. During her years in school, she was athletic and participated in softball, track and basketball. She was a member of the Westernaires Horsemanship group in Golden, Colorado and in high school joined the Order of the Eastern Star and Job's Daughters. Carol worked as a waitress in Denver where she met her husband, Jerry. They married on April 27, 1963 and later had three lovely children. In 2005, she retired and joined Jerry in truck driving for AFW. In 2007, Carol and Jerry officially retired and moved to Jefferson, Colorado. In 2019, they moved to McKenzie to live with their son Glenn and his family. She was a working member of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed growing violets, reading and her dogs Josie and Maggie. Carol is survived by her three children, Michael Cooper (Debbie), Glenn Cooper (Janet) and Kelly Miller (Curtis); nine grandchildren, Janeen Allen (Eric), Jared Cooper (Shay), Jake Miller (Michelle), Brad Miller (Anna), Luke Miller (Janine), Elaine Cooper, Richard Cooper, Jazmyn Schardon (Ryan) and Beau Passmore (Kendall); and eight great grandchildren, Cooper Allen, Cody Allen, Hazel Allen, Alanna Miller, Owen Shardon, Calvin Miller, Joseph Miller and Carter Passmore.
