Carol Cornett age 78 of Cedar Springs died peacefully Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at her home with her daughters at her side. She was born December 16, 1947 in Grand Rapids the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (DeBoer) VandenBosch. Carol worked for many years at the Speedway gas station as a cashier. She tried retirement for less than a year before working at the Meijer gas station. She officially retired in 2025. Carol had a very strong faith in her Lord and was looking forward to seeing Him and her precious daughter, Christine Cornett. Surviving are her daughters, Tammy Jones, Candy (Bill) Norman, Mandy Stahl; precious granddaughter, Ella Norman; sisters, Yvonne Visser, Helena Van Oeveren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter and brother, John VandenBosch. The family will greet friends 11:00 am Monday, March 2 with a funeral service following at 12:00 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Jason Ross, Ada Bible Church, officiating. Memorial contributions in Carol’s name may be made to Bethany Christian Services, PO Box 294 Grand Rapids MI 49501.
