He loved old tractors, auctions, flea markets, and spending winters in Truth or Consequences, NM. He enjoyed camping, deer hunting, fishing, and morel mushroom hunting with his family in tow. He studied the Bible daily and loved sharing the Word with anybody who would listen, frequently saying “I know I’ll have a good day because Jesus loves me!” Don is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joann; children, Earl (LeeAnn) Shevock, Kenny Shevock, Renee (Rick) Wyman-Langerak, and Shawna Ryser (Charlie Cohn); grandchildren, Jason Magoon (Megan Folks), Ray Wyman, Clara Wyman, James Shevock, and Kansas Shevock; brothers, Gary (Trudy) Shevock, Bill (Dot) Shevock, and John Shevock. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Jodeen Shevock. The family will greet well wishers Tuesday, March 3 from 6-8pm at K.E. Pike Funeral Home in Cedar Springs. The service will be held Wednesday, March 4 at 11:00 am at Maranatha Baptist Church, at 12786 Algoma Avenue, Cedar Springs. Pastor Josh Tanner officiating.
