Carol Ann Crawford

Carol's Memorial Service will be officiated by Rev. Timothy Vaughan at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Francis, MN on Tuesday, November 25 th with a 10:00 AM visitation and 11:00 AM service.

Carol Ann Crawford, 84, went into the arms of Jesus on November 19, 2025. Carol was born in Swanville, MN to Almer and Ruth (Elme) Zarns and graduated from Swanville High School. Carol married Tyrone Crawford, her high school sweetheart, on June 20, 1959, had two daughters they raised in the Twin Cities. Carol was a homemaker and was employed at Mercy Hospital in the business office for over 35 years. Carol had a passion for life with lots of friends and family who loved her. She lived enthusiastically, was funny and quick-witted. She loved cooking/baking, gardening, traveling, red hat, playing cards, entertaining and camping. Carol was always the life of the party in any setting. She took grand-parenting to a whole new level and loved them fiercely. Carol was also the "favorite aunt" to her nieces and nephews and was crazy enough to take them and the grand-kids to Camp Snoopy many times. Carol's Christian faith sustained her throughout her life and her trust in Jesus was unwavering through all of life's trials.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Tyrone Crawford; her parents; her siblings; and many other loved ones.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kimberley Paulson (Lyle) and Jill Freeburg (Ragnar); her 4 grandsons; Dylan Paulson (Courtney), Trevor Paulson (Kaylene), Luke Freeburg, and Spencer Freeburg; along with her 4 great grandchildren, Gavin Childs, Wyatt Paulson, Kali Paulson, and Colten Paulson; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved sisters-in laws, Bonita Zarns and Phyllis Crawford.
