Carol Sue Garner Culler was born on September 8, 1950, to Graham and Henrietta Garner, and she passed away on August 23, 2025. She is survived by her husband, James "Harold" Culler, whom she loved dearly for 54 years; daughter, Wendy Culler Mattson, and her husband, Kurt William Mattson; granddaughter, Maybrie Yari Mattson; sister, Beverly Garner; brother, Eddie Garner, and his wife, Martha Garner; brothers-in-law, Larry Culler and Wesley Culler; sisters-in-law, Janice Covington and her husband, John Covington, Jane White and Sarah Garner. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Randy and Stevie Garner, and her parents, Graham and Henrietta Garner.

She was a lifelong member of Needham's Grove Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. Her passions included gardening, especially her flowers, and she cherished her role as Nana to Maybrie. Above all, she loved Jesus with all her heart and soul.

Funeral service will be 2 PM, Wednesday, August 27, 2025 with Pastor DJ Harry, Pastor Edwin Moore, and Pastor Arnold Comer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:45 and at other times at the home.

We ask that all donations be directed to Needham Grove Baptist Church and Baptist Medical Center.
