She met Albert Edward Dally and they married March 19, 1961. They traveled through Albert's military career to Washington and Germany, coming to Lawton/Fort Sill. They later were stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii before returning to Lawton in 1971. Since the age of 14, Carol has had a variety of different jobs that include working at the local grocery store down the street from her childhood home, to working at the library, then working at Wackers, and finally working at Cameron University as her professional career in the Financial Assistance Office for many years before retiring in 2006, but then returned part time for another 10 years. While working, she received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 1985. Mrs. Dally was a faithful member of the Redeemer Missionary Church in Toledo for many years and when she came to Lawton, she attended Cameron Baptist Church. She loved NASCAR, specially Jeff Gordon, crocheting, reading and playing on her kindle. She also loved traveling. Carol loved taking care of her fur grandbabies, Finnick and Carloito. Carol had a loving family, that lover her unconditionally. Her children could not have asked for a better mother, and she was very proud of both her children and loved them and her husband deeply. She was heartbroken losing her son, Albert. Her smile, sense of humor and stubbornness will be deeply missed.
