Carol (Raymond) Denomme, 82, a resident of Liminga, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

She was born on April 28, 1943, in Royal Oak, MI, a daughter of the late Charles and Irene (Osantowski) Krauskoff. Carol was raised in Ferndale, MI, and was a graduate of the Ferndale High School class of 1961. Following high school, Carol received her RN Degree after attending Harper Hospital Nursing School. She had worked as a nurse for a few years before beginning her family.

On August 4, 1967, she was united in marriage to Raymond Denomme. The couple resided in Westland, MI; Garden City, MI; Livonia, MI; and for the past 25 years they made their home in the Copper Country.

Carol loved to engage with God's Word and taught numerous ladies' Bible Studies. She was also an active member of the Rugged Cross Church in Hancock.

Surviving are:

Her husband: Raymond Denomme

Her children: Bryan (Irma) Denomme of Livonia

Kevin (Jennifer) Denomme of Liminga

Kristen (Greg) Wakeham of Liminga

Her grandchildren: Elijah Wakeham and Gabriel Wakeham

Her brother: David (Eileen) Karuskoff of Troy, MI

Several nieces, nephews, and cousins

A funeral service for Carol will be held 11:00 am, Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Rugged Cross Church of Hancock with Pastor Michael Jackson to officiate. Burial will be in the Liminga Cemetery.

Friends may call on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 6 to 8:00 pm at the Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service - Hancock Chapel and on Monday from 10 AM until time of services at the Rugged Cross Church of Hancock.
