Carol Ann Diamond, 79, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025.

Carol was born on December 18, 1945, in San Diego, California. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and loyal friend. Those who knew Carol knew her warmth, humor, and her unmistakable way of expressing love. If she told you she loved you more than her luggage, you knew you held a special place in her heart.

Carol cherished her fellowship within the AA community. When asked her age, she proudly said she was "40 years old"-celebrating the years she had gained in her journey with AA. She was an accomplished insurance broker and a woman who pushed herself to grow every day.

At home, Carol was happiest gathered around a table with family and friends. She loved cooking, hosting family gatherings, and spending time in her beautiful backyard. She enjoyed playing board and card games-Uno and Sorry with her grandkids, and pinochle with her husband and friends. If Carol said, "Can I share something with you?", she was going to share it wholeheartedly. She adored all her pets throughout the years, especially her beloved Chloe. Music filled her home as she sang along to Tina Turner and Martina McBride, two of her favorites.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine and Henry Butler; her husband, Curtis Diamond; and her son, Richard Diamond.

She is survived by her children: Barry Smith and his wife, Claudia; Melissa Huk-Bailey and her husband, William Bailey III; and her daughter-in-law, Patsy Diamond.

She leaves behind her grandchildren: Brittany Potter, Nicole Galindez, Justin Smith, Jeremy Smith, Katie Huk, Amanda Huk, Tyler Truax, Jarrett Adkins, Shana Adkins, Jay Adkins, Jada Mattingly, and Matt Adkins; as well as numerous great-grandchildren who brought joy and pride to her life.

A memorial service will be held for immediate family on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
