Carol Frederika Edsall

Carol was born to Stanley & Fredrika Hotalen on March 22, 1945 and passed away peacefully, after a very brief illness, on March 26, 2026.

Forever a Bulldog, she graduated from Athens High School in 1963. She married Donald Edsall in December 1963 and they shared 54 years together until his passing in 2017. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Joyce Hotalen Denison in 2003,

She is survived by her son Stanley Edsall of Sayre, her sisters DeEtta Kreiser of Athens PA and Eva Kretsch (Ed) of Owego NY. Her sister-cousins, Gail Perry and Ruth Kline and three very special cousins, Theresa Rimbey, Verna Freidman and Carolyn Learn and special friends Sam Brenner and Fern Cook.

Abiding by her wishes there will be no viewing or calling hours. A celebration of Carol's life will be held at a later date.
