Carol Eggering Obituary

Carol was the heart of her family and a constant source of love, light, and laughter. Born on Long Island, she devoted her life to her children, pouring her energy and love into creating the best life she could for them. Known for her tireless work ethic inside and outside the home, Carol pursued life with grace, wit, strength, and positivity. In recent years, she often said she was looking to "find more peace in life," a motto her family will continue to live by in her honor.
Her laugh was infectious, and no one thought she was funnier than Mom herself, which made it all the more contagious and unforgettable. A lifelong Mets fan, she always said: "Ya gotta believe". To know Carol was to love her, and to be loved by her was the greatest gift of all.
She is survived by her children Robert, Kayla, and Lorin, and her beloved grandchildren Raegan and Nolan, who are her absolute pride and joy. (She would have also included Phil Collins, had he only asked her to marry him.)
A memorial service celebrating Carol's beautiful life will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale, NY.
