Carol Jean Farley, age 77, of Lakeville Minnesota passed away at her home on November 14, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 8,1948 in Parkston South Dakota to Robert (Bob) and Margery (Marge) Beebe, she was beloved by her many friends and family.

Carol grew up in Burnsville Minnesota where she attended Burnsville High School. Following high school Carol moved to Bloomington where she found herself working at Thermo King and met the love of her life, Harold Farley. In 1972 she and Harold married and moved into their first
home in East Bloomington MN. After a short move to Pittsburgh PA for Harold's work, she and Harold moved back to Minnesota residing in West Bloomington where they raised their children through high school before later moving to Lakeville.

It can easily be said that Carol's favorite job was being a mother to her two sons. However, as they gained more independence, she returned to work taking a number of positions before eventually finding a career as a travel agent. This position fit her personality as someone who loved to travel and could help others on their own travel adventures. In 2005, after Harold's retirement, they purchased a franchise of Cruise Holidays as proud owners selling in 2015 and fully retiring.

Carol wore the badge of being hockey mom with pride and was actively involved as a hockey manager and organizer of the regional Silver Stick hockey tournament held annually in Bloomington. Through these experiences, she was privileged to meet some of her closest friends and the many hockey moms who shared this common experience together. She enjoyed many activities including crafting, baking, playing cards, playing video games, and interior decoration. She enjoyed adventure, traveling the world to many different countries throughout her life.

Carol is survived by her husband Harold Farley; her two children Joel (wife Jennifer) and James (wife Jill) Farley; her grandchildren Tyler Farley, Ashley Farley, Madison Farley, and Ava Farley; her siblings Connie Chadwick (spouse Leslie), Dennis Beebe (spouse Marjorie), and Donald Beebe; and her many nieces and nephews who she adored and loved spending time with.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Margery Beebe; sister-in-law Patricia Beebe; and sister Carla Snyder.

A celebration of Carol's life will be held on Friday November 21 st at 11AM at Saint James Lutheran Church in Burnsville MN with visitation beginning at 10AM. A lunch will be held at Saint James following the service.
