Olson Nak

Olson Pin Nak, a deeply loved father, grandfather, and extraordinary soul, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 7, 2025.

Born on February 6, 1945, Olson lived a life defined by courage, resilience, and unwavering devotion to his family. His story began in Cambodia, where he built a life with Yan Touch (1939-2017). Together, they created a family rooted in love, strength, faith, and perseverance.

During one of history's darkest chapters, Olson endured and bravely escaped the Cambodian Genocide. The sacrifices he made during that time were immense, and they shaped his lifelong mission: to ensure safety, opportunity, and a better future for the generations who followed him. Because of his perseverance, his family was able to rebuild their lives in a new country. Together, Olson and his family arrived in the United States in 1985. A life filled with hope, possibility, and the sense of security he always dreamed of providing. His family's unity, resilience, and success are a living testament to his strength, love, and legacy.

Olson is now reunited with Yan Touch, who preceded him in passing. Though their lives took separate paths in later years, his love and care for her continued throughout his life. While his family mourns the loss, they find comfort in knowing he is finally at peace and free of pain.

He is survived by his son, Andy Pin, his daughter, Alyssa Phay, and his beloved grandchildren, who will continue to carry forward his legacy with pride and love.

Olson will be remembered for his warmth, his faith, his humor, and the way he made others feel seen, cared for, and supported. His legacy will continue to inspire his children, grandchildren, and future generations. A legacy built on sacrifice, love, and endless devotion to family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at White Funeral Home in Burnsville, followed by a procession to the cremation ceremony.
