Carol Roberts Foree
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and wonderful friend.
Carol was born on March 27, 1945, in Coalville, Utah, the youngest child of David Owen Roberts and Rhea Stephens Roberts. She was raised in Henefer, Utah, on the family farm, where she learned from a young age the value of hard work and developed a deep appreciation for heritage and family. She attended school in Henefer and later in Coalville, graduating from North Summit High School in 1963.
She married Donnie B. Woolsey in December of 1964, and together they had three children: Michael D. Woolsey, Dawn Marie Woolsey, and Carisa Lynn Woolsey. They raised their family in Morgan, Utah, where Carol worked for Browning, then at the Morgan City Office, and later at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB). She was very proud of her work on the B-2 Bomber and received numerous awards during her tenure as a civil servant. She and Donnie were involved in the Morgan Search and Rescue team and actively served their community. They later divorced.
Carol married Chester T. Foree in October 1986. They shared many incredible years together until his passing on March 4, 2010. In October 2012, she met Tom Thompson, and they were together until his passing in December 2024.
Carol loved the outdoors and cherished time spent with family and friends. Countless memories were made camping, hunting, fishing, traveling, golfing, and riding motorcycles or side-by-sides.
Her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her family-especially her children and grandchildren. She loved nothing more than watching her grandchildren blossom and her great-grandchildren grow. She made each one feel like her favorite.
Carol was also blessed with wonderful friendships throughout her life-from her elementary school years to her 20+ years at HAFB and into her retirement.
She is now reunited with her parents; her beloved son, Michael; her brother, William (Bill) Roberts; her sister, Leone Creager; her husband, Chet; Michelle Stackman (Step-Daughter), Pam Barnwell (Step-Daughter), Jimmy Barnwell (Step-Son-in-Law), and her partner, Tom Thompson.
She is survived by her two daughters and their families, and her beloved step-grandchildren.
Dawn Marie (Daughter) and Bret Taylor, and their children: Logan and Savanah McCloy, Chance Petro, and Kenzie Dayoff.
Carisa (Daughter) and Rich Hipwell, and their children: Alex and Ricky Kreig, Courtnie Hipwell, and Austin and Zach Price.
Susie and Chris Jones, Annalisa Huchko George, Rachel and Mike Lopresto, Jenny Rae Barnwell.
She is also survived by her 21 great-grandchildren, her sister Elsena (Tom) Jones, and many nieces and nephews whom she adored deeply.
"I love you to the moon and back."
- Ms. Carol
In her passing, Carol continued her lifelong gift of service by donating her body to the University of Utah for the advancement of science.
