Carol Ann (Shock) Fust, 88, of Prudenville, Michigan (formerly of Sunfield) entered eternal life on December 19, 2024.
Carol was born March 15, 1936 in Detroit. She married Anthony Fust on May 17, 1956 in Detroit and together they raised their four children in Westland and then Fowlerville, MI. They retired and relocated to the Sunfield, MI area. Carol enjoyed knitting, sewing, and watching the wildlife play outside, as well as the cats frolic inside. She was a columnist for the local newspapers in Fowlerville and Sunfield. Carol was involved in the parish prayer tree at St. Agnes in Fowlerville and St. Edward in Lake Odessa, and volunteered at the Welch Historical Museum.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tony, parents Raymond and Marie Shock, and siblings Tom Shock and Frances Prosser, brother-in-law Jim McClary, and son-in-law Terry Hoyland. She is survived by her sister June McClary, children Margaret Hoyland of Lake Odessa, Richard (Wendy) of Prudenville, Jennifer of Lansing, and Gerald (Alice) of St. Johns, as well as 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Welch Historical Museum in Sunfield, or the Capital Area Humane Society.
Catholic Funeral Rites will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024 at the Sunfield United Brethren Church. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. before the Funeral. Interment will be in the Sunfield Cemetery following the Funeral.
