Carol married Richard Dale Garrigues on November 26, 1967, in Oak Park, Illinois. Their marriage of 58 years was filled with love, faith, and companionship.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Carol was affectionately known as "Mema" by her grandchildren, who have fond memories of doing crafts, building gingerbread houses and going on fun outings. She cherished every moment spent with her family and created lasting memories for them all.

She was known for her warm hospitality and beautifully kept home, always making guests feel welcome. Her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her, and she will be dearly missed and remembered with affection.
