Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Carol Edell Glover passed away on December 28, 2024, surrounded by family. She was 86.
She was born in Indiana on September 1, 1938 and moved to Ruidoso when she was young. After graduation she moved to Tatum, New Mexico where she worked and later became the Librarian for the town of Tatum. Carol met the love of her life, Leon, and had three children, Lonnie, Mary and John. She loved spending time in their family cabin in Ruidoso. Fishing and hiking with her children and later her grandchildren. She enjoyed painting and reading in her free time while being a wife for 49 years to Leon Glover, who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by her father Alva, mother Helen, sister Karen and brother Steven.
She is survived by her sister Georgia (Ellen), children, Lonnie (wife Donna), Mary (husband Mike) and John (wife Donna), 8 grandchildren, DeLynda, Michael Kyle, John Ray, Jessica, Tara Ann, Craig, Kevin and Lexie. 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Memorial Service will be held at Terpening and Son on January 3, 2025 at 10 am. Funeral Officiant Pastor Mike Duff. She will be interred next to Leon Glover at Tatum Cemetary
