1944 - 2025

Carol (Isaacson) Harvey, age 80, of Covington, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.

She married Larry Harvey on Dec. 19, 1980, sharing nearly 45 wonderful years together. Born May 13, 1944, in Wellsboro, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Gertrude (Thompson) Isaacson.

Carol took great pride in being a remarkable homemaker for her family, as a devoted wife, nurturing mother, loving grandmother, and adoring great-grandmother. She was a member of the Corey Creek Golf Club in Mansfield and truly enjoyed playing golf and being outdoors. She loved camping and traveling, spending most winters in Florida and Georgia, and most summers at Lake Ontario, with her husband, Larry. Carol was also extremely creative/artistic and created several beautiful pieces over the years. Some of her additional hobbies and interests included fishing, collecting frogs, flowers, cooking, baking and canning. Above all, she loved and cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Larry Harvey, of Covington; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Randy Johnson, of Athens; sons and daughters-in-law, Darryl and Amy Harvey, of Covington, and Kyle and Rebecca Chamberlain, of Covington; grandchildren, Adam Chamberlain, Shayna Chamberlain, Brooke Harvey, Brett Harvey, Kieran Latranyi and Kaden Chamberlain; great grandchildren, Tayson Chamberlain and Everlyn Latranyi; brother, Paul Isaacson, of North Carolina; her fur-baby, Abby; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her son Wade Chamberlain in 2016 and her brother, Gary Isaacson in 2004.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, March 15, 10-11:30 a.m., at Sullivan State Road Baptist Church, 1600 Old State Road, Mainesburg. Carol's funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Randy Burton officiating. She will be laid to rest in the State Road Cemetery, Sullivan Twp.
