Carol Ann Hepler

Carol Ann (Slotterback) Hepler, 90, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Souderton Mennonite Homes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Robert Hepler, on April 4, 2023. They were married for almost 68 years at the time of his passing and were former residents of Telford, PA, for almost 60 years.

Born July 4, 1935, in Lavelle, Schuylkill County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Marion (Eister) Slotterback. She was a 1953 graduate of Butler Township High School and had been employed with Grand View Hospital and Harleysville Insurance Company.

For over 63 years, Mrs. Hepler was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Telford, PA. She was a member of Indian Valley Camping Club and enjoyed camping at the New Jersey Shore. She also liked biking and spending time at the family hunting cabin.

Surviving is a daughter, Debbie Beck and her husband, Donald, of Perkasie, PA; and two brothers, Daniel Slotterback and his wife, Jane, of Warminster, PA, and David Slotterback and his wife, Margaret, of Lavelle, PA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Denine Beck, Lyndsay Hepler and Ashley Hepler. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Hepler; a son,Robert Hepler; a grandson, Ryan Beck; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Hepler; and two sisters, Fay Strohecker and Marilyn Heyer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 11 am on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Souderton Mennonite Homes Chapel, 207 West Summit Street, Souderton, PA, where family will receive friends from 10-10:45 am. The committal service will follow at Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek Cemetery in Telford, PA.
