Carol Jean Holderman

Carol Jean Holderman, age 82, of Tipton, MI, passed away February 16, 2026.

She was born May 16, 1943 in Macon, Michigan, the daughter of Fred and Freda (Creger) Brighton. On November 24, 1962, she married Jack Leroy Holderman in Tecumseh, Michigan. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2025.

She was a graduate of Tecumseh High School, Class of 1962. Carol was active in 4-H as leader with the Tipton Jets. She was known as a "wrestling mom" in Tecumseh, for many years. Carol and her late husband, Jack, were active in area Mixed Bowling Leagues.

She is survived by her children, Tammy (Alec) Miller, Kimberly (Todd) Baldwin, Carrie (Michael) Ingerly, Jack Holderman II (Carmela) and Jeffrey (Janette) Holderman; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grand children, 4 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and brother, Fred (Marcy) Brighton.

In addition to her husband Jack, she was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Bonnie and great grandson, Malachi

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Purse & Son Funeral Home, Tecumseh, MI, with Rev. Brian Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery,

Tipton, MI.

Visitation will also take place on Tuesday, February 26, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

at Purse & Son Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Michigan.
