Carol Kothe Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Andras Crematory & Funeral Home Alternatives on Mar. 24, 2025.
Carol Ray Kothe (nee Frost), age 55, a cherished resident of Elyria, Ohio, tragically passed away unexpectedly in January 2025, leaving behind a profound sense of loss among family and friends.
Born to Dale Ray Sr. and Yvonne Marlene Frost (nee Moore), Carol's spirit was shaped by her love for the great outdoors. She found joy and solace in nature, whether it was fishing by serene lakes, hunting in the woods, or camping under the stars. These activities not only brought her happiness but also created cherished memories with her loved ones. In addition to her passion for the outdoors, Carol had a creative side; she thoroughly enjoyed painting and immersing herself in puzzles. However, her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her loving family, whom she adored fiercely.
Carol's legacy is carried on by her son, Jessie Ray Kothe of Grafton, who was a source of pride for her. She is also survived by her mother Yvonne Frost, her sister, Maryland Hoskinson of Amherst, her twin sister, Cheryl Frost of Elyria, and her brother, Dale Frost of Elyria. In addition, Carol leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, all of whom were fortunate to have experienced her warmth and kindness.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved son, David Kothe Jr., her father, Dale Frost Sr., her sister, Kathy Frost, her brothers, Baby Frost and Michael Frost Sr., and her nephew, Michael Frost Jr. Their memories will forever be intertwined with hers, as she holds a special place in the hearts of those who knew her.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Carol Ray Kothe will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, located at 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052. Family and friends are invited to come together to remember and celebrate the extraordinary life of Carol, sharing stories, laughter, and the love she so freely gave.
