Carol Lapping Obituary
Carol Louise Lapping, age 83, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at UPMC-Hamot. She was born in Erie on September 14, 1942, the daughter of the late Charles and Viola Mitchell Willenbucker.
She was employed at Marx Toys and retired from Plastek Industries. She was a member of TOPS and enjoyed cake decorating, baking, cooking, and candy making.
She is survived by her children: Terry Lapping (Paula), Timothy Lapping, and Todd Lapping., two sisters; Betty Yurchak (Ed), Linda Swift (Fred), two grandchildren; James and Thomas Lapping.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters; Mary Willenbucker, June Breese, and one brother William Mitchell. The family would like to thank the staff of LIFE NWPA for their care which she received during her time with the program.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506 on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 2 pm until the time of Service there at 5 pm.
Private burial on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Sterrettania Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dr. Gertrude A. Barber Foundation, 100 Barber Place, Erie, PA 16507.
